Dexmet Lightning Strike Protection

Dexmet MicroGrid® aluminium expanded mesh is used by major aircraft companies like Boeing and Bombardier and is available in levelled or flattended structure. Aluminium has the lower conductivity with 36·106 S/m but also lower specific gravity of 2.70 g/cm3, that indicates a 60% conductivity but 1/3 of weight in comparison to copper.

Standard configurations ranges from 36 to 137 gsm.
